2025-The Florilegium are affiliating with The Society of Botanical Artists in a big anniversary year for both groups. The SBA have generously given us the opportunity to showcase nine of our artworks to the Plantae 2025 audience at The Mall Galleries.
2025-"Flowers in Contemporary Art & Culture". Flowers have, throughout history, inspired artists, writers and creatives. This show seeks to reveal the myriad ways that flowers continue to be depicted by artists and their omnipresence within our contemporary culture. Over 500 unique artworks and objects are on display throughout the exhibition, divided into nine sections – from Roots, In Bloom, Flowers and Fashion, Science: Life & Death, to New Shoots – each exploring different creative themes and media. 12 images produced by the Florilegium have been included. 2025-"Botanica in Bloom". A retrospective celebrating 30 years of the Florilegium Society at Chelsea Physic Garden. Founded in 1995, the Florilegium Society has compiled a collection of over 700 botanical illustrations, which record the Garden’s plant collection. 30 illustrations by the Florilegium were placed around the Garden in amongst the plants on interpretation panels. Find out more about the plants and their artists, as well as learning more about the history of botanical art at Chelsea Physic Garden. From Sunday 30 March – Monday 30 June, 11am – 5pm 2025. 2024-Founder Margaret King and Chair Mary Ellen Taylor hosted 24 Florilegium (wellbeing related) pieces selected by Hambro & Partners to feature as their summer party theme at CPG. The exhibition was in a marquee on the lower lawn and appreciation from the 450 clients was heartening!
2019 "The Art & Healing Power of Plants". The Chelsea Physic Garden and The Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust presented an exhibition that intertwined botanical art, medicine and plants. Click image to view YouTube video.

1998-The RHS Botanical Art Exhibition, watercolour paintings of ‘Plants associated with Philip Miller growing in Chelsea Physic Garden’. There were 32 paintings by 26 artists and The Society was awarded a Gold Medal.
